BAARC FIELD DAY CANCELLED – LETTER FROM PRESIDENT TOM
Dear Broken Arrow HAM Club Members and HAM radio enthusiasts,
After careful consideration and discussions, I am disappointed to announce that we are canceling BAARC’s Field Day this weekend. Many members are still being affected directly or indirectly and resources would be too limited.
I will send out a follow-up email on Friday listing any alternative sites or clubs for participating in Field Day.
Also, If you are needing any assistance due to damages caused by the storm, please let us know to see how we can help.
Breakfast at 7am at Mom’s Cafe in Broken Arrow on Friday is a go. Be sure to mark your calendar for the July 3rd Ice Cream Social with more details to follow.
Some have suggested a rigged up camper for Field Days that can be pulled to a site. If you have any suggestions or ideas or sites, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Best regards and thanks to everyone for their support and enthusiasm.
