Program: From Chirp to Cloud – Smarter Ways to Program Your Ham Radio
We will walk operators through today’s most useful software and mobile tools for managing, updating, and organizing their radios. The program highlights how CHIRP, manufacturer CPS suites, RT Systems, and cloud‑connected resources like RepeaterBook and RFinder streamline everything from building codeplugs to sharing club‑standard frequency lists. Attendees will see how these tools simplify backups, reduce programming errors, and make it easier to keep HTs and mobiles aligned for events, storm spotting, and everyday operation. The session is designed to be practical and hands‑on, giving both new and experienced hams a clear path to modern, reliable radio programming.
