2020 Green Country Hamfest Canceled – 16 Mar 2020.
CLAREMORE, OKLA – The Green Country Hamfest Committee had been monitoring the rapidly changing information and recommendations from Oklahoma State Health Department (OSHD) as well as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our first concern is the health and wellbeing of all hamfest attendees, our vendors/partners and the Amateur Radio community in general.
We take great pride in the Green Country Hamfest being Oklahoma’s largest and most attended hamfest, so we say, it is with much disappointment that we must announce the following:
The 2020 Green Country Hamfest has been canceled.
We truly appreciate your patronage of the Green Country Hamfest and look forward to seeing everyone April 2021.

Bill, KE5VKB, our roving photographer, found a few interesting shots at Green Country Ham 2014:
#1 – Check out our president’s new hat! Hope he doesn’t get caught in a thunderstorm!
#2 Of course, there’s Guy. What BAARC event would be any good without Guy?!
# 3 – the BAARC Table
#4 – What? Guy again!
#5 – Seriously? Another one?
#6 – the Sub guys – WW2SUB

There were prizes, too!
Or you could get your hat embroidered with your call sign!
I think everyone had a great time. I hope you enjoy the photos. K5CED
Good morning everyone. Great trip again to Dayton. About an hour or so of rain Saturday morning but the rest was OK. PIZZA Friday and Saturday night was excellent. Had great time for sure. We really have a great group of HAMS. This was Bill’s first trip and we will hear from him but think he had a really good time.
Have a great week all I’m headed out to mow. Boy did it grow the four days we were gone. There calling for same kind of weather this evening as last so stay on the look out.
Also a BIG shout out to Bruce for doing the driving. He did let me take over some on the way up but he did the majority of the work.
BIG THANKS again to Bruce and also we need to thank Dan for the rental cars and the rooms. Rooms are already booked for next year.
Dwight Vance KF5SHI sent these photos of Hamfest – had to share these two that had Ray WB5JJA, John KN5UPS, Andy WI5WL, Scott KD5NJR, and Bill KE5VKB. The last photo shows our BAARC booth and an overall shot of the fest. Thanks Dwight!
Some members of BAARC attended Green Country Ham Fest 2013 on Saturday. Here are a few photos:
