Thanks to Skipper Smith, NQ2J for these Field Day 2018 photos:
This group operated running very low power QRP using alternative power sources.
Thursday June 22nd 2017 4 p.m. . The crew just in from knocking back a few lager’s had their mowers sharpened, fueled and ready to go in a mere matter of hours they turned a pasture into the field day site for 2017.
Attending today’s grass mowing brawl…the one and only Guy “The Rotor Blade” Shipley along with Clint “The Lawnmower” Baker. Bringing up the final row of the round up was the one and only Ray JJA “Massey Ferguson Monster” to finish out the mowing crew.
At 92 degrees with humidity setting at 56 percent it was critical to get done as soon as possible.
Our Field Day chairman Dan/W5BM and assitant Field Day chair Ray/ K5CFY were on site to insure a safe and well operating mowing event.
